Assistant Management Accountant

This role is a fantastic opportunity to deepen your understanding of restaurant operations, work closely with Finance Business Partners to the Management Accounting team, and see the direct impact of your analysis on business performance.

In this hands-on, varied role you will:

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and cost center reporting.
• Analyse delivery sales and reconcile weekly across brands.
• Analysis of daily cash for restaurants and investigate variances.
• Support the BAU monthly review and support the budgeting for repairs, maintenance, and operating supplies.
• Teach and coach Restaurant Managers to understand their P&Ls.
• Update daily sales files and investigate variances.
• Provide ad-hoc analysis and KPI reporting.

What you’ll bring to the role:

You’ll bring energy, curiosity, and a strong grounding in accounting fundamentals, along with an analytical mindset and proactive approach to problem solving. You’ll enjoy collaborating across teams and communicating insights that help drive performance.

You’ll ideally have:

• 1–2 years’ experience in management or financial accounting, ideally with multi-site thinking
• A degree in Accounting, Business or Finance and progressing towards a CA qualification would be preferred
• ERP experience and strong Excel skills (Power BI a plus).
• Collaborative and communicative.
• Proactive with strong time management.
• Detail-focused and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
