Employment type: Permanent, full-time

Days required: 5 days (Rostered between Monday- Sunday)

Hours: 30 – 40 hours

Hourly Rate: $28.50 - 30.10

Tasks involved in the role

• Drive profitability through sales forecasting and strategic decision-making.
  
• Ensure an exceptional customer experience with high product standards.
  
• Support the Restaurant Manager in meetings, planning, training, and operations.
  
• Provide accurate reports to inform decision-making and business insights.
  
• Build a high-performing team through recruitment and talent development.
  
• Deliver effective training and onboarding for team success.
  
• Maintain strict health and safety compliance.
  
• Optimize inventory management to reduce waste and ensure efficiency.
  
• Implement preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
  
• Strengthen community ties through local non-profit partnerships.

  
  

• Proven experience (at least 2 years) as a supervisor or Assistant Restaurant Manager, thriving in the fast-paced world of Quick-Service Restaurants.
• Passion for food and customer care, with a deep commitment to manaakitanga and delivering exceptional service
• Resilience to power through challenges, never backing down from tough situations.
• Coaching leadership style, with a proven ability to develop and inspire team members to reach their full potential.
• High EQ and self-awareness, valuing open communication and continuous improvement.
• Commitment to diversity and inclusivity, fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment that aligns with core values.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices, ensuring top standards of cleanliness.
• Tech-savvy, comfortable using restaurant management software and point-of-sale systems to drive smooth operations and data insights.
