Assistant Store Manager - Albany (Torpedo7)

About the Role

As our Assistant Store Manager, you’ll work closely with the Store Manager to lead, coach and inspire the team to deliver outstanding customer service, drive sales, and keep the store running like a well-oiled machine. You’ll be across everything—from the shop floor to team training to operational tasks—and always ready to jump in where needed.

 

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supporting the Store Manager in daily operations and decision-making
• Leading by example on the shop floor to deliver epic customer experiences
• Coaching and developing team members to reach their potential
• Monitoring and driving store performance, stock, and visual merchandising
• Creating a culture of energy, teamwork, and customer focus
• Opening and closing the store, and stepping up in the Store Manager’s absence

What You’ll Bring

• Retail leadership experience (Assistant Manager or similar)
• A passion for customer service and creating a positive store vibe
• Great communication skills and a team-first attitude
• A can-do mindset and the ability to stay calm under pressure
• A love for the outdoors or active lifestyle (bonus if you speak fluent bike, hike or snow!)
