Assistant Store Manager - Starbucks Newmarket

Starbucks is all about connection between partners, customers, and our communities. As an Assistant Store Manager, you’ll help drive daily operations while developing partners and delivering unforgettable customer moments.
This is the perfect role for someone ready to step up, take ownership, and grow into a future Store Manager.
What you’ll do:
- Support all daily store operations alongside the Store Manager
- Coach and develop partners to deliver operational excellence
- Help manage labour, inventory, product quality, and store performance
- Lead the team in the Store Manager’s absence
- Model our mission, values, and “customer comes first” approach
- Maintain a clean, safe, organised store that feels like a Second Home
- Building a culture of high standards and operational excellence
What you’ll bring:
- 2+ years retail/food service experience, including 1 year in a leadership role
- Strong communication, coaching, and people skills
- Ability to lead confidently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- A mindset of initiative, responsibility, and professionalism
- A drive to support a team and create great customer experiences

Shift Pattern: 32.5 hours a week
Mon: 1230 - 1930
Tues: 1000 - 1600
Wed: 0615 - 1330
Thurs: 0615 - 1400
Sun: 0715 - 1415
