Why you’ll love this role:

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll play a key role in bringing Starbucks New Zealand’s digital campaigns and customer moments to life across CRM, loyalty, app, website and e-commerce – creating seamless digital experiences that engage customers and drive commercial results.

This is a high-volume, hands-on role in a fast-moving retail environment. Starbucks NZ launches approximately seven seasonal promotional campaigns each year, alongside core beverages, Sparks, loyalty moments, app offers and e-commerce activity. You will help ensure these launches go live accurately and on time across every relevant digital platform, with strong customer journeys, clear reporting and measurable commercial impact.

No two days will look the same. You may be building and sending an EDM, briefing IT on an app update, setting up an ecommerce, checking offer mechanics, reviewing campaign performance or supporting the wider team to bring a launch to life.

  • Play a key role in the transition to a new digital platform, while optimising CRM, loyalty, EDMs, push notifications and app messages to drive engagement, retention and growth.
  • Coordinate digital campaign launches across CRM, loyalty, app, website and e-commerce, ensuring activity goes live accurately, consistently and on time.
  • Manage day-to-day website and e-commerce updates, including products, pricing, imagery, banners, landing pages, promotional codes and campaign content aligned to the seasonal promotional calendar.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, agencies and digital partners, using campaign performance and customer behaviour insights to improve engagement, loyalty, digital sales and campaign revenue.

 

What you will bring to the role:

You will have huge energy, intrinsic drive and resilience, and will have:

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in digital marketing, CRM, loyalty, e-commerce or customer lifecycle marketing, ideally within retail, hospitality, FMCG or another consumer-facing brand.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CRM tools, loyalty platforms, email marketing and customer journey automation.
  • Experience with CRM platforms, loyalty platforms, Shopify, Klaviyo or similar tools, Google Analytics and digital reporting tools.
  • Proficiency in content management systems.
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite with an eye for layout, design and digital storytelling
  • Excellent analytical ability with a passion for using data to understand customer behaviour and improve performance.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple streams for work across shifting priorities.
  • Well organised, self-motivated and effective at managing deadlines in a dynamic, fast paced environment
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and influencing skills with the ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams
  • A proactive mindset, openness to learning and drive to continually improve and evolve.
  • Commercial mindset and understanding of how digital activity drives customer engagement frequency, retention, loyalty participation, app usage, ecommerce and campaign revenue.
