Why you’ll love this role

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role right at the heart of our ecommerce team. As an Ecommerce Assistant, you’ll help keep our websites sharp, accurate, and trading at pace, making sure the right products, pricing, and promotions are live and performing.

You’ll work closely with our Ecommerce Trade Specialists and Trade Manager, supporting everything from product setup and campaign execution to onsite merchandising and optimisation.

What you’ll be doing

Keep the site trading day-to-day
Support the execution of our digital trade plan by ensuring promotions, campaigns, and updates are delivered accurately and on time.

Own product setup and accuracy
Load and maintain products end-to-end, ensuring data, pricing, imagery, and copy are complete, accurate, and customer-ready.

Support onsite merchandising and optimisation
Help keep our sites product-led and easy to shop by maintaining collections, improving product placement, and supporting search and navigation.

Assist with campaigns and content
Support the build and scheduling of digital content across homepages, banners, and email campaigns, ensuring everything is tested, accurate, and ready to go live

Work cross-functionally
Collaborate with teams across Marketing, Buying, Planning, Retail, and Customer Service to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Spot improvements and add value
Keep an eye out for errors, opportunities, and ways to improve how we work and how our sites perform.

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in ecommerce, digital merchandising, or online trading support (retail is a bonus)
  • Confidence working with ecommerce platforms, CMS tools, and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in getting things right
  • Experience with product uploads, attributes, and basic SEO copy
  • An understanding of how onsite merchandising and search impact customer experience
  • Ability to support campaign builds and content updates
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • A team-first mindset, you’re happy to jump in and support where needed
  • A genuine interest in ecommerce and what drives online performance
  • Demonstrates initiative and a proactive approach, taking ownership of tasks and identifying opportunities to improve processes and performance.
