Learning Content Specialist
Who we are
Tahua Group’s vision is to create a great Kiwi business. You may not have heard of Tahua Group, but you’ll know some of our well-loved brands: Burger King, Starbucks, Popeyes, Number One Shoes, Hannah’s, Resonate and Torpedo7. Proudly Kiwi-owned and operated, we’re united by our values of better, manaakitanga and whanaungatanga.
Why you will love this role
As part of our high-performing People & Culture team, you’ll play a key role in shaping how learning comes to life across our QSR brands.
This is a specialist role focused on learning design and content creation, where you’ll spend the majority of your time building high-quality, engaging digital learning experiences.
Working closely with the Learning & Development Manager and stakeholders across the business, you’ll turn ideas into impactful content — from e-learning modules to video and interactive resources — helping create consistent, engaging learning experiences across our brands.
If you love the craft of learning design and enjoy bringing content to life through digital tools and storytelling, this is a role where you can truly specialise and make an impact.
We are looking for a Learning Content Specialist who is highly skilled in Articulate Storyline and loves designing interactive, scenario-based digital learning. This role is ideal for someone who wants to spend the majority of their time developing engaging eLearning modules.
What you’ll be doing
- Design and develop engaging digital learning content (e-learning, video, interactive modules) primarily using Articulate 360 as an eLearning authoring tool.
- Translate business needs into clear, effective learning experiences grounded in adult learning principles.
- Create high-quality, consistent learning assets that can be used across multiple brands for frontline team members and leaders.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and the Learning Development Manager to bring learning concepts to life.
- Continuously improve content based on feedback, insights and performance data.
- Support optimisation of the Learning Management System to ensure content is accessible, structured and user-friendly.
What you’ll bring
You’ll bring energy, creativity, and a passion for learning design, along with:
- Proven experience in instructional design and digital learning content creation.
- A portfolio or examples of learning content you’ve designed and built (essential).
- Strong technical capability with content creation tools (e.g. Articulate 360, Adobe Suite, Vyond or similar), with experience building branching scenarios, knowledge checks and interactive simulations
- Confidence working end to end: from storyboard through to final build and publish
- A strong understanding of adult learning principles and how to apply them in practice.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce polished, high-quality content.
- Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects and deliver to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
What we offer
- Stunning North Shore offices with an onsite Starbucks café.
- Free car parking.
- The Tahua Family Card – offering discounts across Burger King, Starbucks, Hannahs, Number One Shoes, Torpedo7 and Resonate Health.
- A great benefits package including life and trauma cover, enhanced parental leave, your birthday off, and long service leave.
- A supportive, collaborative team where you can grow your craft and make a real impact.
