Are you ready to be part of an exciting journey in a fast-growing hospitality business? With our current growth we are looking for a talented New Product Development (NPD) Lead to join our high-performing Supply Chain team.
In this role you will manage the NPD process for Burger King, Popeyes and Starbucks from concept to completion and ensure that the new products align with our strategic goals and meet brand standards. To do this you will deliver the following:
- Lead a cross-functional collaboration to ensure products meet financial, strategic, and compliance standards.
- Manage New Product Development (NPD) processes, from concept through to commercialisation including product feasibility, concept testing, costing models, product approval, whilst ensuring compliance to the necessary global approval processes & local government food safety requirements.
- Develop and analyse costing models for all new products and Limited Time Offers
- Source and onboard new suppliers, ensuring quality and alignment with brand expectations.
- Ensure compliance with food regulations and manage the global approval process.
- Oversee product handovers to the Supply Chain team for forecasting and ordering.
- Manage smaller product categories like sauces and desserts.
What you'll bring to the role:
- A Food Technology or Food Science qualification with at least 3-5 years experience in the food manufacturing industry, with proven success in technical product development and supplier management.
- A track record of bringing new products to market, managing the entire product lifecycle.
- Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with Marketing, Operations, Finance, Quality and Supply Chain teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and budgets.
- High attention to detail, ensuring products meet ingredient specifications, compliance regulations and quality standards.
- Ability to manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and oversee product development timelines.
- Calm under pressure, with excellent time management and organisational skills to handle a dynamic and varied workload.
