Supervisor - Starbucks Queenstown


 

This position contributes to Starbucks success by assisting the store manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. This position leads with Starbucks values and role models Starbucks work methods. This position will be responsible for ensuring partners are in the right place at the right time by deploying partners, and executes operations each shift by working alongside the team to complete and delegating tasks as required to create and maintain the Starbucks Experience for our customers.

Employment type: Permanent, full-time

Days required: 5 days (Rostered between Monday- Sunday)

Hours: 30 – 40 hours

Hourly Rate: $26.27 - $28.90

Tasks involved in the role

  • Supporting the Store Manager to plan for staffing and scheduling needs, not just building a roster.
  • Preparing beverages and serving food to customers.
  • Ensuring training is consistently planned, communicated, completed and recorded.
  • Establishes and maintains store cleanliness by cleaning dishes and ensuring tables are cleared when not in use.
  • Organising and putting away stock
  • Assisting in ordering stock
  • Maintaining consistent Starbucks operational standards and compliance to health and safety regulations.
  • Planning and prioritizing store operations and promotional activities.
  • Product knowledge to sell to customers and advise them on product use
 Job pre-requisites
  • Proven experience in hospitality/retail operation.
  • Hospitality experience is preferred.
  • Passion for customer service and creating special customer moments.
  • Strong time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to drive practices that embody Starbucks Mission and Values.
  • A mindset that problems are improvements in waiting.
