Supply Chain Specialist

As part of the high-performing Supply Chain team working across the hospitality group, this role will support our Starbucks brand and will be liaising with Asia Pacific to ensure our stores can provide outstanding service to our customers. 

What you’ll deliver in this role

  • Build strong relationships with Asia Pacific stakeholders, ensuring expectations, standards and performance measures are consistently met.
  • Lead demand planning and forecasting for core ingredients, packaging, consumables and smallware’s
  • Manage landed cost calculations, USD forecasting for AP LTOs, and stock allocations as required.
  • Monitor and manage stock at the DC, including date management risks, over/under stocks and waste minimisation
  • Provide weekly and months stock-on-hand reporting, with clear updates for trade meetings, supply chain reviews and board reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement and procurement savings across the supply chain.
  • Manage supply risk and business continuity planning for core items

What you'll bring to the role: 

  • Previous (3-5 years) experience in supply chain / procurement, ideally in food and beverage FMCG, QSR hospitality or a related industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of establishing and building effective working relationships with people of all cultures and stakeholders/employees at all levels. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the capacity to produce high-quality reports, analysis, and presentations using Microsoft Office 365.
  • A positive, customer-focused service-ethic.
  • Confident negotiation skills, focused on building mutually beneficial business relationships. 
  • A sharp focus on details, and disciplined execution of delivery. Little things matter. 
  • A mindset of curiosity for continuous improvement and a fresh perspective to identify, develop and implement creative, innovative, solutions that add commercial value.
